Java is the language used to write generators and the functional aspects of a Berlioz application.

Runtime

Berlioz requires the Java Runtime Environment 1.7 (JRE) when deployed on a server.

Development

For development, developers must install the Java Development Kit (JDK). The recommended version is JDK 1.8.
